Fees & Financial Policies

Dr. Bates Freed currently sees only a limited number of patients in her fee-for-service practice or group therapy.

Her psychological associates see patients who pay out-of-pocket and also provide in-network therapy for patients with Aetna or Anthem Blue Cross insurance plans.

Any self-paying patient can request an itemized Super Bill for submission to insurance companies that reimburse for out-of-network providers. The office does not take Medicare.

Fees (Dr. Bates Freed): 

• Initial psychiatric diagnostic evaluation: $250

• Psychotherapy (individual or family, in-person or teletherapy)

  • 60 minutes: $250

• Group therapy: $50 per session

Fees (Psychological Associates Oriana McGee, PsyD or Hang Yin Candy Lo, MA): 

• Initial psychiatric diagnostic evaluation: $200

• Psychotherapy (individual or family, in-person or teletherapy)

  • 60 minutes: $200

• *Eligible Anthem or Aetna patients are charged co-pays at the time of service.
